Partner educators were awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to various professional learning events:

  • 40 educators attended the Hip Hop in the Heartland one-day seminar (spring) & Hip Hop in the Heartland five-day Institute (summer)
  • 4 tickets and brunch passes to the 2016 Homecoming Game to worthy cooperating teachers
  • 16 educators attended the Minority Student Achievement Network (April)
  • 20 educators received partial scholarships to participate in the Greater Madison Writing Project
